Why Practise Hatha Yoga?
According to experts, a stiff spine is the first sign of aging. When the muscles become slack, the organs cannot function properly. Lack of exercise creates a stagnation that affects the flow of blood and oxygen, and interferes with the digestion, assimilation and elimination of food. Likewise, repetitive activities—even sports and heavy exercise—create an imbalance in the skeletal system and we lose flexibility. Stress often manifests as pain in the shoulders, neck, hips and back, and creates energy blocks that contract the muscles and pull our body out of alignment. Many doctors and physiotherapists recommend hatha yoga to relieve headaches, muscle cramping, joint swelling, insomnia and chronic irritability.
Hatha yoga will help you:
- Relieve stress and tension
- Align the spine
- Stimulate the flow of oxygen
- Rejuvenate the body
- Increase vitality
- Improve strength and energy
- Maintain flexibility
- Feel relaxed and peaceful
